Pre-Workout Quick Tips & Motivation

Get the most out of your workouts with these pre-workout quick tips and motivation to do your best!

Food is Fuel   

200 Calorie Pre-Workout Snack

If you are hungry, then eat first before you workout.  Food is fuel!  A sliced up banana (rich in potassium and fiber) with one teaspoon of all natural crunchy peanut butter (for potassium and protein) is 200 calories and a great pre-workout snack.  Also, if you aren’t a breakfast eater, you should try this. It’s a great way to get your metabolism going in the morning.



Drink 15-20 ounces of water 1-2 hours before a workout. Break it up and drink small amounts every 15 minutes or so by using a small juice glass.

Make a Plan

Write down exactly what you plan on doing for your workout.
Butt & Abs Workout

You should record all your workouts in a journal or in an app.  Write the amount of weight you used, if you went for time or repetitions, etc.  It’s a great motivator and doesn’t take up too much time.

  1. I wished you live closer. I want you to be my personal trainer. I’ve been side lined for a month recovering from several injuries and I was out of shape to begin with. Uphill climb, but I will prevail. Happy Weekend!
