Fitness DVDs are a great way to get fit from some of the top trainers/instructors in the business and all in the privacy of your own home. There are so many different formats to choose from, that you are bound to find something you like!
Most single DVDs are priced between $5- $25. I discourage you buying a pack of DVDs for a “special price” because you may not like the instructor’s style or even the workout itself.

First off, beginner doesn’t always mean easy. I still buy “beginner” workouts from the instructors I admire. No matter how fit you are, you need to go back to the basics to master your form and to prevent overtraining. You can’t just go all-out power every workout, you WILL get injured that way.
I love these workouts and Paul Katami is a great trainer. He walks you through each workout with perfect cueing to keep you safe.
There are three 25 minute workouts:
Workout 1 – Tutorial emphasizing correct technique.
Workout 2 – Drills and combinations (building off workout 1)
Workout 3 – Core Training
Start with a lighter weight and perfect your form first. Add more weight to keep challenging yourself (still focusing on form). Seriously, start LIGHT!
If you are interested in getting into kettlebells, you should own this DVD. I bought it from Amazon for about $8.
