You don’t need to go to a fancy gym to get your workouts in.
Pull the couch back, give yourself some room and do some cardio or strength training. *Right down a list of about ten exercises and circuit through them 2-5 times with little to no recovery in between. Don’t forget to stretch at the end of your workout.
Cardiovascular ideas include:
- jumping jacks
- march, jog, run in place
- front, back, side kicks
- scissor jumps (cross-country jump)
- double hops
- power jumps (jump up & touch ceiling)
- side steps
- stair step ups
- tick-tocks or pendulum swings
Any movement that uses bigger muscle groups, is repetitive, and gets your heart rate up is considered cardio.
